Ministry Scripture
Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 3:8-13 King James Version
Men and women who have found favor with the Lord and are set apart and appointed to fullfill the responsiblities of the office of Deacon or Deaconess. They are worthy of respect and hold the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They are to be assistants to the varying tiers of leadership of the church as needed. They are to be in constant prayer for the leadership and house of faith. This should be their lifestyle, never waivering from the truth of the Gospel.
Ministry Purpose Statement
To serve and honor the leadership of Faith Baptist Tabernacle and to be an example of servanthood.
To be bold in the faith and exhibit godliness within the congregation.
They are to keep the peace throughout the congregation, as well as set up holy communion and assist with baptisms as needed
Ministry Mission Statement
